Our mission is to improve the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned canines; especially those which are chained or penned without human companionship. We strive to accomplish this through building fences and encouraging indoor time, advocating for humane legislation; promoting and facilitating spay and neuter in low income communities, educating on animal welfare and care, facilitating rabies vaccination; and working with local agencies for rehabilitating urgently distressed canines.
Building fences
We meet with dog owners currently keeping their dog on a full time chain or tether, and offer to install a fence at no cost to them. Owners receiving a fence for their dog must agree to have them spayed/neutered. They must also be up to date on their rabies vaccine. All fences are 100% donor funded and built by volunteers.
Community outreach & education, Spay/Neuter
We build relationships in the community to help dogs in need. We work with families to get their pets spayed/neutered, and work with them to improve the living conditions of their pets.
